Week 35: Peloton Biking

Week 35 of #fitforsevens (my 2019 challenge to try a different kind of fitness each week of the year) was the #Peloton bike!

I made a swap this week when I realized that the hotel I was staying at in Chicago (shoutout @aloft !) had a couple #Pelotonbike in the fitness center. I have always wanted to try one to better understand the hype.

I loved loved loved loved loved it. I can totally understand the hype. For me, the bike combined a lot of the things that I love about fitness into one: the ability to do it alone or with others, the ability to engage digitally, a community, different levels of workouts for all abilities...)

I had never used one before so I had to make an account which was quick and easy. Choosing my workout was hard — so many options!!! I wanted to do them all. There are leaderboards and you can tap on others that are doing the same workout as you and give them a virtual high five 🖐 which was neat!

I got a good sweat session in and owning a Peloton is definitely on my wishlist.
