Week 14: Hip Circle

Week 14 of #fitforsevens was Hip Circle! I first learned about the Hip Circle from my coach, Rich. He is working on addressing some of my tighest (and therefore weakest) muscles: I AM LOOKING AT YOU, HIPS! Years of long long runs and a desk job has really impacted the mobility of my hips.
I didn’t have a lot of video footage this week, however, I got more DM’s than ever asking questions about the hip circle. (Maybe I’m not the only one who loves to feel the burn!) I hope this video helps you learn more about the hip circle and it’s many uses.
Sitting is the worst, yall. Stand as much as you can throughout the day. If you are lucky enough to have a standing desk (like me) at work, don’t be so lazy that you hardly ever use it (also, like me).
There are SO many exercises that you can do with the hip circle. The options are nearly endless. I’ve only begun to scratch the surface - a week is not near enough time! I look forward to continue to using this every week to strengthen my tight and weak areas.
