Week 47: Body Pump
For week 47 of #fitforsevens, I was lucky enough to be visiting my grandparents in Arizona.
I also ended the week with a workout with Amy from Momentum at Body Pump. Amy has been doing body pump for years - I think she might have said 12 years? Longer? I love that and I admire that consistency so much. It really goes to show, when you find something that works for you and that you love - stick with it!
Body pump is a weight lifting class done to music. The coolest part - it’s high rep, lower weight. It’s so different from the weight lifting I’m used to doing at CrossFit.
It definitely got my heart rate up and I was sweating - a lot. That tricep track was NO JOKE.
I took some of the moves that I learned at Body Pump and used them while we were away on vacation.
Have you ever taken a body pump class? I bet there are a lot of Body Pump lovers out there - it seems like a very strong community!
