Week 46: Step Aerobics

During week 46, I was in Minnesota visiting Amy. Amy is the CEO/founder of Momentum and I’m thankful to be getting to work with Amy and Momentum!

My adventure in Minnesota was memorable. I learned a lot about Momentum, got to explore Minneapolis and St. Paul, ate delicious taco bowls at Amy’s house and got some chilly runs in the Minnesota air.

One of the coolest things about working for someone who also values an active lifestyle is the fact that Amy built workouts into our schedule each day. Having a supervisor who builds in time for fitness into the agenda is a pretty awesome thing!

Amy took me with her to Xperience Fitness, a big gym by her house and I got to try two new classes with her: step aerobics and Body Pump.

For week 46, I wanted to focus on learning as much as I could about step aerobics. This class that we took together was harder than I expected. I was sweating so much. It’s also a workout for your brain — I had to really focus in order to not completely trip over the step! I fully felt the burn, especially in my legs and butt!
