Plant-Based Eating: 1 month in

Thanks to the coaching and nutrition support from Uncaged, I am now 1 month in to my transition to a plant-based lifestyle.

I have a lot to learn but I’m excited to be on this journey.

Overall, I feel great and the transition (OTHER THAN MISSING CHEESE) hasn’t been as hard as I expected. My body feels energized and I NEVER feel that gross-full feeling anymore.

I have been using MyFitnessPal to track my meals to make sure I’m staying within my recommended macros for the level of training that I am doing each week. Melissa, from Uncaged, helps a lot when I get confused by all of the math. #thestruggleisreal

Melissa also let me tag along when she went grocery shopping which was really helpful.

Eating out can be challenging but most restaurants have more plant-based options than I realized! It’s been fun trying new things. My goal in the coming weeks is to try tofu. (It’s in my fridge, I just haven’t done anything with it yet!)
