You can do weird things.

My friend and I always remind each other that we can do hard things.

Inspired by Glennon:

“These things will be hard to do, but you can do hard things.”

But then one day, I was about to tackle something that I was feeling weird about and I said to her, "Ugh, this is going to be so weird"

and she looked at me and said:

"You can do weird things."

And we laughed.
Because that's what we do.

You know those friendships where you laugh through the hardest shit? This is one of those.

Now, reminding each other that we can do weird things has become one of our things.

Making that phone call.
Having that conversation.
Doing that house project.
Making that decision.

Sometimes, things get weird.
Life is weird.
But you can do weird things.
