Take the stairs, take the stares.

A few years ago, after 8ish years of running pretty consistently, I started to get achy hips.

Refusing to believe that running was to blame (RUNNING IS NOT TO BLAME) I joined a #crossfit gym. I knew that to be a better, healthier runner, I needed to get stronger.

That worked it big ways.
I got faster and stronger and less achy.

BUT I ALSO LEARNED SO MUCH.

I met Coach @pr00f_92 and learned a zillion lessons, one of which being the magic of the hip circle. This little banded pal I only use a few times a week for a very SMALL amount of time but I KNOW it's keeping my glutes and hips awake so that I can run longer and stronger.

You put it above your knees and waddle around in cool organized ways and it strengthens your lower body. It's good for warm ups and to address muscle imbalances. It works well for injury prevention and hip flexor work and also to put on your finger and spin around and fling it across the living room.

ONE MORE THING
Rich and Nancy have this fun account @thedptduo that is informative and fun (did I already say fun?) and it's worth a follow because I learn a lot from them.

ANYWAYS.
🍑 Tight muscles are weak muscles.

🌯 No one said you have to give up Chipotle.

and DM Rich for any more wisdom because those are the only 2 I remember right now.
