Week 12: Bike Riding
I kicked week 12 #fitforsevens off with a bike to work on Tuesday! Eeek! Not going to lie, it was a little scary.
Am I a pedestrian? Am I a car?
I don’t know but: I need a helmet.
SO many thoughts went through my head during that first ride but I made it to work safety in 35 minutes.
I was thankful for the tips from my Instagram family.
Biking to work is pretty fantastic.
I switched up my route for Thursday to a neighboring street that had a much better bike lane. I felt safer and more equipped there until I had to make a left turn.
I have a lot of work to do before I’m an official biker-to-work-er but I’m intrigued. I can see this becoming a commute that I do for real, every day.
I did not get that sweaty, so my Nathan wipes were perfect for freshening up. I would do my makeup once I got to work and washed my face.
